Working Mom

Week 4 of work - well, so far the transition is going OK.   Lots of stuff going on right now too.   So there is no shortage of things to worry about.   Starting next week, I go back full time.   Overall, we are adjusting fairly well to the new schedule.   Noah enjoys spending time with his Daddy, Jody and grandparents.

Noah is developing so much each day.   He might be developing a bit of the clown mentality - I think I'm nervous that he might have a little of my personality (3rd grade in the hall).   His new favorite thing is to do raspberries for everything.     We often hear him lying in bed doing raspberries over the monitor.   This seems to be a soothing technique.

Noah does sure put things into perspective for us.   We are so thankful for such a loving human being to care for each day!!

Sara goes back to work

Week 1 back at work - mixed emotions.    For about five days leading up to the actual return day, there were some tears shed.  Fortunately, Noah gets to spend time with his Daddy and a family friend.   It makes saying goodbye to him each morning a little bit more easy.

We are definitely not in a routine yet for getting out the door.   But that hopefully will come at some point.   Some days we are up in the middle of the night, some days we are not....it requires quite a bit of flexibility.    And to boot, the poor little guy got another cold - so the week was challenging.

Noah is developing such a personality - each day there is something new and small to take in.   We just love it.   He occasionally rolls over, smiles a lot, loves to hold onto things, puts most things into his mouth, laughs once - we are trying for laughter, loves to look at the trees on walks,  etc.    We are still working on the napping thing but he is a pretty good sleeper overall.
